What a waste of money.
This is a private effort. It should cost the government almost nothing other than the salvage value minus savings on disposal costs.
Chuck – as a super late update to this… There’s a few hours left in the bidding for Storis (the GSA has decided to sell her). Here’s a link to the Facebook page of the STORIS Museum with info as well as ways to donate if people are interested.
