I haven’t published much about China’s bullying of the Philippines lately. That doesn’t mean it has stopped. Rather it has become routine.

Not surprising, China has been pushing in the South China Sea and against the countries in the area for many years, China wants to rape the fishing resources. Also note the expansion of bases in the South China Sea and the building of islands where they didn’t exist before.
Look at what is happening in Ukraine and there is no incentive for China to think the US would stand up, however China has been pushing navigation limits for years.
