The DOD news service “Stars & Stripes” is reporting that the Department of Homeland Security is deploying Coast Guard medical personnel to the border with Mexico to screen immigrants.

Certainly could. DOD people are already there, but Public Health people don’t answer directly to DHS like Coast Guard people do..
