7/15/25 I was in an accident riding the bike – got hit by a car. I have several broken bones. I am in a recovery facility now.

Oh man, that sucks. Adding my best wishes and hope for a symptom free cycling life after you fully recover.
On the bright side, I assume you bike is toast, so now is an opportunity for a brand new bike! Consider adding fancy doodads like dynamo hubs and the latest very bright lights like the Klite , supernova m99 or Igaro C1 ! Or- multiple bikes!

My bike looks easily repairable. I was a glancing blow. The motorist stopped. I got help promptly. In a recovery facility two miles from home.
No no no! This is an opportunity for a bike upgrade!
