“We have what appears to be the first look at one of two new Gulfstream 700 (G700) VIP jets for the U.S. Coast Guard. The jet notably has a livery almost identical to that of a 737 Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) with a luxurious VVIP interior and clear ties to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) rather than a more typical Coast Guard paint scheme.”

Very close livery to what Trump wants for Air Force 1. Definitely more aligned to DHS than USCG.
I think the Secretary wants it to look more like Air Force One.
Agreed.
Could this paint scheme be a new requirement for all VIP – Mission aircraft in U.S. Service?
@Pat Gray, I don’t think there is any new standard for painting VIP air transports. Have seen no indication the older planes will be repainted.
They are $70 million plus a copy……..
Gone airplane shopping lately? Even for General Aviation aircraft?
Any Airedales here to comment?
If the Coast Guard ran their Aviation program like they do their Cutter program, we would have incidents like the Turkish Air Force had a couple months ago when one of their 1960’s era C-130’s broke up in mid-flight on routine flight from Azerbaijan. Airplanes have a finite lifespan, especially pressurized-cabin aircraft, even more so operating near salt air environments.
I wonder if it has gold toilets?
