  1. Being assigned to an Aegis ship can be hazardous. Even standing on the bow or stern of a Burke Class DDG while underway can get you radiated if the ship is pitching up and down. The bow and stern can rise up high enough to get radiated from the SPY radar when it is operating at low angles.

  2. Sounds like the makings of a good Sci-Fi story line. The “Radiated Dead” on a ghost ship.
    I do not know if the radiation will be any more harmful than all the solvents we used to use and, of course, the asbestos. We will not know for a life
