USCGC Kathleen Moore (WPC-1109)
MarineLog is reporting the Coast Guard has exercised a $255.1M option for six more Webber Class WPCs plus spares with Bollinger bringing to 30 the total number ordered from this shipyard. Ten of these have been delivered.
Lets see how long it takes for certain person to make a comment, about this posting?
Is he out of work…again?
Same day. Tools
I thought these were supposed to be recompeted at some point
That didn’t take long!
This reminds me of Joe Kennedy and his “cost plus” contract to build WWI destroyers. This contract is a prefect example of why new bids should be opened from time to time. It keeps the contractors on their toes.
Nope. LOL!

12th Webber class WPC (ISAAC MAYO) delivered: http://navaltoday.com/2015/01/14/us-coast-guard-receives-12th-fast-response-cutter/?utm_source=emark&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Daily%20update%20Naval%20Today%2C%202015-01-15&uid=171
Maybe Bollinger has saved enough money now from the USCG enabling them to get the contract to give the USCGs money back to them to pay for the 123s?
