You may have noticed the blog hasn’t had any new content for several days.
I have been distracted and it will likely continue for another ten days or so.
My wife and I are celebrating our 50th anniversary. Things should get back to normal about the end of February.

happy anniversary!! 50 years! just hit my 60 birthday yesterday. we are coming up on 40. if she does not kill me first we might make it to 50.

Congrats on your 50 years. We are there in August of this year. I joke that the first 25 years are the hardest then it gets easier which is kinda true.
As was mentioned, I also always supposed you to be younger and that you are retired USCG. What was your history with service?

You have passed a great milestone in one’s life not many achieve. Congratulations to you and your beloved. It’s a small thing having someone to talk with, so small but important. I miss my wife, we were closing in on 46 years when her life ended. Enjoy your partnership together, it can be a wonderful thing.
