Serious concern Russia may be preparing to attack Ukraine. The Ukrainians are apparently planning some upgrades, but it is definitely a David and Goliath situation.

The photo caption is misleading. It should say that the cargo vessel is carrying two FORMER US Coast Guard cutters.

Being “sent”, doesn’t imply under their own power either. Unless vessels being piggybacked lack diesels to make the voyage themselves. I suspect the Ukraine Navy will be using their own licensed locally produced “Jenbacher” of Austria biogas marine diesels. Or even maybe a small marine gas turbine produced by “Zorya-Mashproekt” of the Ukraine
