It looks like the Coast Guard starting to get a bit more money for infrastructure improvements.
I am not going to make a new post every time I see an announcement about an improvement, but I would like to start passing along any press releases, so I am going to use this post as a place to post them in the comments.

Coast Guard Station Tybee to hold groundbreaking ceremony for new building in Savannah
WHO: Master Chief Petty Officer Eric D. Risner, officer in charge of Coast Guard Station Tybee, crewmembers of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Pompano (WPB-87339) and Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Tybee Island.
WHAT: Groundbreaking ceremony for a new 25,000 square-foot multipurpose building at Station Tybee.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Coast Guard is holding a groundbreaking ceremony for a new search and rescue building in Savannah, Wednesday.
Station Tybee is located north of Tybee lsland and east of downtown Savannah. The station shares the property with Fort Pulaski National Monument as it guards the Savannah River entrance. Station Tybee is assigned to Coast Guard Sector Charleston, District 7, has 38 active duty and 19 reserve men and women assigned to the unit who perform missions of search and rescue, enforcement of federal laws and treaties, and environmental protection.
The personnel at Station Tybee also conduct collateral duties necessary to support the administrative, logistical, and maintenance tasks to keep the station at peak operating levels of readiness. Station Tybee covers an area of approximately 75 coastal miles from St. Helena Sound, South Carolina, to Sapelo Sound, Georgia, including rivers, creeks, tributaries and marshes. Station Tybee responds to approximately 250 search and rescue cases and 500 law enforcement boardings per year.
The Coast Guard Cutter Pompano is an 87-foot patrol boat with 14 men and women aboard enforcing laws, fisheries, drug interdiction and search and rescue.
Aids to Navigation Team Tybee Island has six members who conduct maintenance to navigational aids in the Savannah and Hilton Head area. Their primary mission is to ensure the safe navigation of all vessel traffic throughout the area including container ships that enter and depart the Savannah River.
Your picture above is actually a reversed image of a former Coast Guard property, now owned by the City of Cleveland (or some waterfront coalition) and leased to the Foundry, a sports training and educational institute. The old Coast Guard Station is used as a sailing training center, mainly for high school students but also for summer campers and adult recreational sailors who race on weekends or weekday evenings.
