So if they going to be doing ‘National security’ stuff in and around what China likes to think of as its own pool… Somebody is going to find the budget to upgrade the weapons load on the NSC right?
Exactly…and perhaps purchase one or two more. It’s doing some of the stuff envisioned for that Navy lightweight vessel…but actually doing it.
One could argue, it’s long legs, better endurance and sea keeping make it a better fit for the expanses of the Pacific than the LCS was ever going to be.
